The 2017 GRIP IT & RIP IT TOUR presented by Dicks Sporting Goods.

 

WHEN: 

Sunday, December 10th, 2017

WHERE:

Georgia State University Football Field  (Former Turner Field)

 

STYLE: 

5 vs. 5 NFL FLAG Rules (w/modifications)

FORMAT: 

This is a one day tournament where all teams will play a guaranteed three games. Teams will compete in a three game round robin format. The top half of each bracket will advancement into a single elimination playoff bracket. 

DIVISIONS - 48 TEAM MAX:

There are multiple divisions of play offered within this tournament.

All grades are based on the 2017/2018 school year.

1st Grade or younger

All participants in this division must be in 1st Grade or younger or BORN IN 2010.

You must provide proof of grade for this division.

 

3rd Grade or younger

All participants in this division must be in 3rd Grade or younger or BORN IN 2008.

You must provide proof of grade or for this division.

 

5th Grade or younger

All participants in this division must be in 5th Grade or younger or BORN IN 2006.

You must provide proof of grade for this division.

 

6th Grade or younger

All participants in this division must be in 6th Grade or younger or BORN IN 2005.

You must provide proof of grade for this division.

 

8th Grade or younger

All participants in this division must be in 8th Grade or younger or BORN IN 2003.

You must provide proof of grade for this division.

 

All divisions must have a minimum of four teams for the division to go. If there are less then four teams signed up, team coaches will be called with options of playing up or being refunded.

AWARDS -

All teams that sign up for this tournament are competing for a PAID BID into our GRIP IT & RIP IT SHOWDOWN, Martin Luther King weekend (January 13th & 14th) in Miami, Florida. In addition, all champions will receive individual champion trophies.

 

ENTRY FEE - 

$350 per team (With a team of 10 players, only $35 per player)

 

ADMISSION FEE -

There will be a $5 admission fee for all spectators into the facility. Coaches, players, and children under 5 are free.
